“Burning Up” EP is a quintet of bolstering waves of intensity, with an overload of untamed energy that, quite frankly, speaks for itself.
Introducing out of courtesy, KAI is a DJ and producer of Bulgarian descent, raised in Italy. who bleeds passion for hard-hitting drums, intense rumbles, and underground lore.
“Take Me Back” consoles the hearts of punk rock devotees with an efficient groove devised by textured snares, layered electric guitars, and a saturated screaming voice. This gives rise to a dauntless crescendo of synth stabs incentivized by beaming vocals dissolving into obliterating impact.
“Burning Up”, the title track, profuses an intimidating aura with tight mechanical drums and steel transients, carefully placed eight-note synth stabs that enhance movement, all of which are elevated with the clear-sounding punk rock vocals.
Right after, a drier bass hits the eardrums, evoking this trance-like feeling that quickly gets into its groove. “Metalhead” is demanding and unabating, with a satisfying cavernous feeling fabricated with the help of reverbed screams.
An energetically delirious track follows, as “V Zone” begins with beams of anticipation that quickly reveal a raging atmosphere.
RZVX jumps on this deliriousness, only to deliver an infectious take of the track, a standout in his signature sound, and an incredible sonic epilogue.
The new single from this UK act is electronic music at its most searing, with white-hot electronics blazing over hectic beats. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 12, 2022
